Just seen this on the news, this virus has proper screwed up everyone! Sir Tom was a legend, he's on the same level as David Attenborough in my eyes

Just heard myself. Unfortunately, until people stfu and do as they’re told, we’re going to see more of the same. We’re already reaping what the selfish have sown over Crimbo and New Year’s Eve. Very sad and especially galling for me as I’m clinically extremely vulnerable.

I had covid in July 2 days before my 50th birthday, caught it off my 19 year old daughter. Thankfully we recovered at home.
However I am suffering badly from long covid.
It's no game.
People need to stop behaving like morons.

RIP Sir Tom, there are many folk who have flouted the rules and survived, the virus is most unfair in its path.

Glad you’re out of that mate but sorry to hear you have long Covid. My friend had it and said it was horrible. He’s suffering the after affects but not as bad as yourself. Stay safe mate.
