Rip/ scratch on steering wheel leather

Does anyone know in the North East area where I could get my steering wheel repaired/ replaced?

I have discovered a mark on the bottom and have no idea how it happened. I don't wear rings and the Mrs doesn't drive my car so can't understand what else might of caused it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Just on the bottom of the wheel? If so then probably a coat zip or other metallic object on clothing has been brushed up against the wheel when entering/exiting the drivers seat?

No idea on how or where to fix, but I know there are car upholstery companies about that could recover it.

Yeah on the bottom. Very strange as I can never recall dragging anything across or similar. I'll have a shop about, might be a good opportunity to get an alcantara cover instead!

Speak to control custom steering wheel but they are based in Torquay. I had my carbon fibre fr wheel custom made there but I'm sure you they do repairs too. If it helps you can tell them I sent you lol

This can happen when you get out holding your car keys. The key then catches on the wheel.

Try leather conditioner and work it into the mark. It reduced the mark on mine to almost nothing.

^^ This i had the same issue. Just requires some loving, give it a good massage. Seeing as its on the bottom its not too bad.
