I've had a Kenwood HU before.....was more than happy with it, only swapped it out to get the ipod in.
seems to be a good deal then with the amp and sub?
Ive got a mutant headunit atm, its good, but looks a bit tatty now, and im sick of it being lit up blue when everything else is red...

get rid of the chamois it will give you swirl marks use a sonus drying towel or megs water magnet...
swirl x by meguiars is meant to be great for renoving swirls and cobwebs too

After talking with Adam and Lee, I know have an understanding on what i need to get some nice aero wipers on the front. Gonna see if i can source some within the next couple of weeks 
Any suggestions for any other 'little' mods i could do? Got a week off next week, and hopefully a new garage to play in

So as the title suggest's, Ive got myself a nice little sub and amp, with wiring kit.
Erm.. thats it really, because I'm a bit scared of it lol
Has anyone else installed a sub and amp? If so, any help would be very very very good.

Yeh, but theirs 2 ways to do it...
1 - Just change the blades to Aero retro-fit Bosch ones
2 - Change blades and wiper arms to proper Golf IV ones, which make the wipers sit better, and look much nicer.
Oh well yeah, im gonna change the entire arm, as ive already got some aero wipers (got them then realised they dont fit) Lol
Just make sure you run the power cable down the opposite side to the RCA cables

haha, good stuff, I've seen pics from inside the cabin looking down the bonnet, and the difference between option 1 and 2 is so obvious, and 2 is the only way to do it.
Ive got Low Pass Filter and High Pass Filter built into the amp, crossover slope LPF/FULL/HPF , remote bass control, gain control and its 2ohm stable, so i can i think, wire it up to 2 Subs
All I need is some decent speaker wire to connect the Sub to the Amp. Any suggestions on that?
Also, mounting? i was going to have the sub facing out (towards the back of the car), in the right forward corner(nearest to the seats on the right side of the boot), and mount the amp above it, on the back of the rear seat. Sound okay?
Also, the amp has a remote start, does that mean that aswell as the RCA cables, you wire the remote wire to the headunit, so the amp only powers up when the headunit is turned on?
Thats my only concern so far, that and getting the cable into the cabin, from the battery, and where to mount the fuse, and the ground.......
