Hi all can anyone shed any light on the situation that has arisen. I had my lcr rolling roaded at motorscope 6 mths ago at the time it had a generic map on with a nuespeed filter it produced 247bhp sat gone I took it to Evo tune for another r&r this time I have added fmic, blueflame 3inch downpipe + Decat, badger 5 tip n249 bypass forge 007p dv yellow spring cold side relocation and it produced 229bhp?? How can this be the car feels a lot quicker than when I last had it on r&r. Confused the boost is 1.8 afr above 14 until 5300rpm???

probably the dyno lottery as it's known, very rare to get the same figures after visiting different sets of rollers, some seem to be easier to achieve good figures on, where others seem to only ever produce low numbers.

So many factors involved it's not surprising really, even down to the temps on the day.

AFR's above 14? As in 14.5? Or 12? If its higher number stop driving it. That is dangerously lean. And 1.8 bar is very high on oem rods, you'll be seeing those soon.

Similar issues to mine. I had the car remapped by a certain company rollers stated that I was running 265bhp and 300lbs then went to gti international went on the rollers and was running 227bhp and AFR was all over the place. I was advised my engine was eventually going to die. I decided to have another remap with another company and am happy with the results, and got peace of mind
