We all went to Marlin Engineering last year for our RR day, which is in Milton Keynes. They had a good setup and the people working there seemed quite helpful

If you're coming over from Jersey, try JKM in Portsmouth. If you want other options, Janspeed in Salisbury are very good too :)

JKM would get my vote though

Avoid Regal like the plague, they are hopeless.

Try Janspeed in Salisbury or Power Engineering in Uxbridge. Don't settle for any old place, find somewhere with a respected RR or else it's hardly worth doing.

Yeah I have, VERY impressive place if you can blag a tour and very knowledgeable guys too. I went there on a rolling road day and every car, standard and modified, came out at exactly what it should do. They calculate power at the wheels and have a formula they apply to calculate the power at the fly if you really want it. Wheel power is much more useful and accurate though :)

You don't need to be VAG experts to run a car on a dyno, you just need to know the basics and what gear gives the closest to 1:1 ratio.... and the owners manual usually states that!

Power Engineering are top guys though and work on most types of car. If they can map rally cars from scratch, I'm sure they can run a Leon on a dyno ;)

Surrey darling...
My mate runs SRR (Surrey Rolling Road) and I can vouch for their kit and quality of service... am planning to do a Rolling Road Day eitrher toward the end of August or mid September - depending on numbers and the show calender (E38 being the first weekend in September)

When were you thinking of coming over?

www.torqueofthedevil.com are a new firm opened by an ex partner at Power Engineering. They have a better RR (Dyno Dynamics, very accurate, tested heavily by MLR members) and i'm 90% sure there prices will be more competitive ;) bit of a feud going on between them at the moment.
