The rear bush i've gone for the race use, based on a spherical bearing but with a bush internally for some flex

Looks good will be interesting to see your feedback on them.

What are the seals like on these i.e. from a weatherproofing point of view?

With all the rain and muck we get on the roads I thought that was always an issue with spherical bearings?

SCCH do sphericals for the rear end btw Shine did list sphericals but I'm sure they're for the mk1 and 2 chassis.

If you ever find yourself bored on a weekend and adding a few miles to your low mileage car, pop over.
Got to finish the cam chain tensioner on current silver a3 and swap an engine in another we picked up today, kettles always on mate

I think im going to just run the blacks in the wishbones for now, rear beam was a pain to do and dont fancy doing it again anytime soon
Plus with hopefully cracking on with the quattro conversion, will render it obsolete

Also chambers cupra, had a look through your RR and see your welded in bushes, they look good but hoping due to the large amount of pressure to get them in that they wont move
If they do i blast some pidgeon shite on it

Busy times again, ended up doing a 20hr day yesterday then a few hours sleep and up to do some door seals in a leon. Worst ive ever seen and the car was full of water

Whilst at work installed the black bushes in the wishbones which ive been waiting on, so all ready to go in now

After that ive been getting a horrendous noise from the rear wheel bearing, i replaced one a few months back and the other ones now given up. So popped to my friends garage and shoe horned the car in so i could work on it in the dry

Nice shiny new parts installed

Whilst there i kept popping in next door to look at this being detailed

Hopefully in the week i'll get my wishbones and ball joints fitted

I'm looking forward to it. Your last map update took the car to the next level and thats without the torque intervention removal. A new clutch is being fitted friday hopefully so i'll be up to see you in the near future. I'll have to get a box of tissues ready for Mr Prawny as there may be tears involved after the map update. Whether they will be tears of laughter or from loss of his crown who knows.

Managed to eventually get the new wishbones and ball joints fitted last night but unfortunately no pics as the phone was providing some tuneage in the workshop
the bad news however is that i found one of my track rod ends is like a ***** in a shirt sleeve so bought a new pair today, thought id do both
Also stiffened up my rear ARB to the stiffest setting to hopefully match the slight increase in rigidity the front has had
Currently the tracking is miles out and steering wheel sits at 2 oclock to go straight but over smoothish yet undulating terrain the bushes feel very good, especially the rears as they rotate instead of flexing the bush however on divots and bumps it does shock through the car more
Will update again (with pics maybe) of it all fitted and after ive had a chance to test the bushes
