If it is the precat lamba is there a way off making sure before spending like 90quid on one and them finding out it could be the maf and then have to spend another 60/70quid on one?

Just been out to me car to scan it i got this fault now.....

hi i think you have a vac pipe split mate, causing an air leak.

now under ur intake pipe (forge TIP) the EGR valve sits, there is a vac pipe that goes into that, its very commen for breaking right on the egr valve end.

If its not that it could be the secondary air pump leaking, think they are around £250, but in the ibiza FAQs section there is abit showing you how to take that out, so you could try just removing it or putting a resistor in the plugh o think its still there just to try that

hi all

i have the same problem i my 2000 leon

i have checked all the vac pipes and found one that comes from the bottom of the inlet manifold split (about the width of my thumb)
put my finger over the split and it runs fine

new pipe ordered for tomorrow (part number 06A 103 221)
