rubber door strips removable?

It just came to my attention that they really are rather lame and I think the sideview would be ALOT better if I removed them.. howto do without damaging the paint?

the rubbing strips? not rubber?

use dentafloss, and a hairdryer to warm the glue on the tape, you are aware that there are holes behind these that you wil need to fill
