I would say that replacing that panel is going to cost probably more than the car is worth

anygood bodyshop will be able to remove the rotten section and make up a new secion treat seal and paint, what size are are we talking about

the panels are £73 +Vat each........ well the rust is starting to make its way up around from the lip. a bodyshop could probably sort it but i doubt there will be a cure for it unless i buy a new panel....and i cant seem to find that part on there web page either? dunno how you got it m0rk? lol

Same problem here with the rusty arches but cant seem to find the part on the website above. Think im going to have to get mine done in the spring as getting quite bad now :(

the rust can be chopped off an moulded, my mates golf was the same. grind the arches and managed to smooth them etc..

But yeah, rear quarters are a pain in the back side to replace.
