Rusting exhaust tip - only 18 months old FFS!!

Anyone else got a rusting exhaust tip? Will the Stealers honour the warranty and replace it?

I wouldn't mind, but the car IS garaged every night...

they should do, i know from working for bmw they will honour most things under warranty, just kick up stink if they wont!

I said this to my stealers when the car was in for warranty work. They said it was 'natural'?? lol. I'll leave it a few months then get back to them. I was a pain in the @rse when I had it in the first time for a blemish in the paint work!

This dude talks sense! My parents have a 56 plate Altea FR. When we got it the tail pipes were "rusty" (tarnished with brown rust speckles). Got autosol on it and polished up lovely. It's stayed like it too.

Autosol is amazing stuff! i use it all the time on my exhaust! can you tell (was after a 40 min drive to)
