yes they was the illuminted ones they need wiring into the dash board dimmer switch i didnt get a set myself but would but up for maybe putting up another group buy feeler for them, but i dont know who soured them in the first place.

Fitting A3 illuminated Heater Vents

Has anyone tried the above yet? Now that its winter and I only get to drive my car in the dark during the week, I miss being able to see the heater vents.
As some A3's were equiped with illuminated vents, where would i try to spice into the loom?!

Also noticed that the A3 also has chromed centres where The R has red!

I have them simple really just need to feed the loom you make across the dash somehow, and tap into the dimmer.

A3 iluminated vents

Has anybody done this mod in R? just wondered which bit lights up on the vent?

Also would the red bit in the guide pop out and fit the a3 item?

And last off is there a plug in the loom to attach them too?
