From what I have read you need to splice into some of the original loom, not a plug and play.

Also just paint the new bit red

I did the bora to golf change on my old mk4 , its a easy mod and cost around £60 to do.
Mite be worth a go with the a3 ones, dont think the bora vents will fit. Also looking for a W8 light in black.

Has anybody done this mod in R? just wondered which bit lights up on the vent?

Also would the red bit in the guide pop out and fit the a3 item?

And last off is there a plug in the loom to attach them too?

Bora ones wont fit (Golf Dash) as the Golf ones dont fit the Leon either only. the A/S3 ones will fit as its the same dash .

w8 lights never cam in black from the factory. you have to spray them yourself!
