s3 brakes

thinking of rating the front brakes to s3 312 discs etc has anybody else done this as would like to know if its a straight swap apart for drilling new bolt holes

New carriers for the calipers, but a few ppl have done the conversion. Have a searchy...

had a search early on could only find reuvers thread. the calipers i have found come complete with every thing but will i still have to get them machined down like he had to? or should i just wait and buy a set brembo once i have got my new k04-001 fitted

I say go for the s3 brakes

money wise they are the better option imo

312 brakes are a good upgrade, had mine for about a month and found them excellent for the price. Depends what your power goal is though really. I ended up stumping up for brembo 4-pots as im going hybrid. Amazing brakes, feel so secure with them.

But like i said, depends on your budget and power goal.

just on with buying the k04-001 turbo so will need something thats going to stop me once had it mapped at bills

yeah but you'll see figures around 240 hp. S3 brakes with proper discs and pads will be more than up for the job

I don;t know about the year of the car, but just get the brakes off any S3, Leon Cupra or the 225 hp Audi TT
