is £250 delivered a decent price for a sachs dual mass flywheel?

going to get an up rated clutch on and from what i can see ill need a new flywheel due to it being bedded in with the old clutch disk , not going for a solid one as the cars a daily and dont want it vibrating like mad.

is that a competitive price?

Best thing to do is phone a few companies and get an average then go from there. i got a saches clutch and dmf for £280 trade where as it was nearly £1200 from the dealer - the ONLY difference was a VAG logo on the dealer one.

The first uprated clutch i had on my Audi was a custom Kevlar clutch. You need to find out if the pressure plate has been uprated otherwise i bet that is a stock pressure plate that has been repainted. Kevlar clutch discs MUST be run in properly over several hundred miles or you will burn the surface of the disc. Saying all that my clutch lasted very well and sold it on to another SCN member when i uprated to an even stronger clutch.
