To get a 13.9 it must be running some power!!! At least 280 bhp!!
I had a 300 bhp Nissan 200sx and could not better 14.2!!

Im really happy with My TDI who'd think they were capable of running 14's over a 1/4 mile thats one hell of an acheivement! Powerful petrols struggle to break 14's!!

At the Pod mine beat a 328I BMW,x2 Civic Type R's, Fiat Coupe Turbo, and a few chav mobiles! and still returned 42mpg!! lol

TDI's are the way to go!! Im never going back to 24mpg again lol!

if you are talking about Chris. Nope it is a Cupra petrol, with Remap, some racing fuel and back seats and spare wheel dropped out. I was there on that day, and in all fairness he had som bloody good starts. as for breaking 14's, not that amazing S14A, my mates Nova is 170 BHp with a small amount of Nos and thats down at 12.9 fastest and 13.2 average. although without the nos was 13.9

quite a lot of cars in the 13's now, when you consider a lot of standard ho hatches can now achieve 14's its no wonder the played with ones are in the 13's

so it's a 12.9 with nos and 13.9 without? that'a seconds difference! i'd say that was more than a small amount of nos me thinks:think: 75-100bhp extra probably. weight is always the key to dragging your car and of course grip! that nova probably only weighs 900kg,i managed a 12.9 with 350bhp but my car weighs 1400kg,the difference of a caterham in weight:blink:

using a car that is 1200kg in weight 8.36 with gas and 9.24 without not the ibiza though :) i wish oh do i wish - lol

low weight helps a lot up to a point - then you need more just to get tyres to stick to the ground - i know some cars 3 times our weight running low 8's

high 14's aint half bad for a diesel - bet it was handy at the top end though - GRUUUUNT

saying that 12.9 in the TT isnt half bad either :) top job

is your car the one that won the king of europe event? i've just been watching the dvd if it is! btw your car which weighs 1200kg wouldn't be 800bhp+500bhp shot of nos would it:blink:

the black and a funny sort of un-aerodynamic wardrobe shape ('34 ford) mmm yes thats him - its not mine - i just help out and skivvy - wayyyyy too much money for me to play with

ran low 9's over in chimay - and still left rubber all the way down the track - sorry public road [B)] gonna be more fun this year - looks like some cracking competition
