I have a Seat Leon 2009 Stylance, which has the sat nav fitted.

It used to work fine, but recently it's all gone wrong. It looks like it can't find any satellites or something, as it is now showing my location as somewhere in the middle of the North Sea!

Another probably connected issue is the compass displayed in the MFD is stuck at 'N'

I have looked through the forum but can't find any similar problems. I'm loathe to take it to a dealer as I'm a but skint to be honest.

Any help very much appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like a GPS antenna issue. Check all the connections etc and try unplugging the battery for a short period of time to see if that makes any difference. Can pick up new antennas of eBay about £7 if needed

Thanks for the reply.

Tried unplugging the battery for about 5 minutes but made no difference.

I assume you mean check all connections at rear of head unit, although not sure how to remove this.

It did say when I tried to select gps that there were no satellites available (0/0), so guessing it's the antenna.
