Sat Nav tidy In dash...

Hi all I was thinking about creating a holder for a satnav and putting in the the dash somewhere to make things tidy and smart. You could say the equivalent to sam's gauge pod. let me know if you have any ideas? or even photos.

Got a little project pending! Involves hot glue gun lots of fibre glass and a ashtray! Keep you posted!

We basically get get a ash tray wedge it open mount the sat nav (a 4.2 secreen fit mint) old tommy ripped to bits jos a gooden!

Was piss easy to make. Mdf 1 piece of beading, wood glue and matt black wrap. Job done. Took only a few hours to make over a few days

Made a little pod for my iphone last year, can't find pics though ended up selling on ebay

Done pods for ipods, sat navs and a 7" flat screen for someone

i just stick my garmin nuvi 610T on the windscreen , as it has the traffic leads built into the power lead they need to be attached also , plus i can remove easly with out some scally trying to nick it

i used to go to school in Rhydywaun in penywaun , they wouldnt even let us out dinner times felt like a prison in a prison

every morning the windows be smashed on the flats above the fish shop , when we left theyd be fitting new ones , by the morning they were put back through again

plus im not actual from merthyr nor live there

I've bought a spare one as i thought about doing this, just haven't had the time or found a sat nav that will fit in there...

i bought a central blower vent and was going to put to put a Liquid gauge in it but it seems like tooooo much effort
