Sat Nav Update

Just picked up this from eBay last week...

Now have 2015 Western Europe Maps.

I know these copied discs often don't work, but this was faultless. The business park my office is on, is now shown (instead of looking like I park in field), I trip to London and back showed new road layouts, and there seem to be new POI which might/might not be handy.

May not work as well for everyone else, but I recommend it as a cheap update that improves and already great car (still only 5 characters in the postcode search though)!

Is there any new firmware on the disc. I got 2014 maps last year and still on 220

Got my 2014 from there. Got it with the speed camera locations but not that good and sat nav takes ages to start up with that disc in but instant with the gen 2012 disc.

I've got the 2013 disc in mine

Any idea what the hw is ? I have 2014 disc but not gen ones. Takes ages to start nav with that in starts instant with the 2012 origanl. Still on 0200 firmware too. I was just wondering if it was slow on start up as the disc has speed camera locations as poi so guessing it's modified programming. Or yours gen discs and how does it start up ?

Mine's a genuine 2013 disc.
German eBay is worth a look for genuine discs, got mine from there for less than £30 delivered.
There was a genuine 2014 2 disc set on there that's just gone for £13! Unfortunately the seller wouldn't post outside Germany otherwise I'd have had it.

Hi all,

Just to add my little snippet..

..I bought my pre owned Exeo ST Sport Tech in February and found there was no Western Europe DVD to be found. After reading threads on here and also on the Audi forums I went off and found this:

Put in the car when delivered and it did a system update, then started up. All good so far, DVD works every time and is pretty accurate in terms of new roads. (eg; there's a bypass completed early 2014 nearby and that is listed)

It is £32 with £3 delivery.

Bit of info. Bought new 2015 maps for uk from audi sat nav. Com. The update firmware comes on its own disc which u have to ask for. 2 other update map discs iv bought before this work but as I said in previous posts it takes about 3 to 4 minutes before the nav is loaded. This is every time you start the car I'm now guessing that its trying to load update put fails so just starts the nav. However the new one updated firmware but it now reads x--- on the version but everything works as it should and now the nav loads wishing 20 seconds of turning on. So in all I'm a happy chappy
