what do you use to de-tar the wheels? was giving my parents range rover a wash and wax yesterday and the wheels seem to really generate lots of tar spots, seems that the alloy wheels are not of very good quality, they have quite a rough texture to them.

i used autoglym intensive tar remover and some left over clay and just used the tar remover and rubbed with the clay, same off no bother.

Fair play mate, I would really want one if I had that engine :D

Can't wait to see how well it maps

it is quick but doesnt feel quick to me now lol, just used to it. yeh im sure a remap will put a big grin on my face, im getting the itchy mod bug....keep looking out for pd160 intakes and wee bits and bobs. got coilovers and alloys watching in my ebay lol....i told myself no when i got this one!! aha might just lower it on the rims that are on, quite like the standard ones....im skint just now anyways so maybe in time....

I once had a 1.2 Fabia as a hire car. I loved the noise the 3 cylinder engine made, especially when you revved it. soluunder like a V6, much better than the deseasel clatter. However when it came to overtaking and climbing hils, I missed the power of the vRS.

Have you decided which company you get the remap done by?

Also, if you are going to buy a PD160 intake, I would do it before the remap to get the best out of them. I would also purchase a panel filter at same time as the intake.

diesel clatter wash your mouth out boy :ban: you need to come see some decent sounding turbo diesels my car sounds nice with its Milltek cat back! Get yourself educated and on tdisport, once you drive a turbo diesel the boost is addictive, I am smug that I have a fast good looking car that cost less to tax and in fuel than petrols!

Trust me, you soon get tired of it.

I'm fed up with the engine on mine. The car's great but my god does the engine miss a few ponies.

I actually don't know what i'd do if i had a car as slow as the 1.2 (sorry), as i find my own car super sloooow. Can't wait to get a more powerful car!

You'd do what I do, forget trying to rag it around anywhere, it just doesn't reward you. I find my fix for speed at weekends, I drive karts that are considerably faster than the Ibiza

I Really Do Hate My 3 Cylinder, Even With A Custom Cat Back And K&N Panel Filter Its Sounds Like A Hamster In A Wheel Is Powering It :(

Looking At One Of These, I Really Like The 2007 Special Edition VRS But I Prefer The Seat From The Standard VRS,

Has Yours Got The White/Black Seats Scott?
