fleabay delivery arrived today...some rather tasty black chrome vinyl, so my S badges (which are fly-eyed at the moment, and looking a bit worse for wear) are going be to looking rather more how I want them, when I get around to it... and find my scapel :D

and cheers guys for the compliments, I get quite a few double takes in my car now, lol. :bleh:

Well the chrome black vinyl stayed on for a total of a 9days, everytime I looked at it and touched it it made me feel awful and chavvy. I just don't have the wrapping skills :( so that all came off QUICKQUICK. Might find some black chrome spray at some point....

Haven't been having much luck recently either: Coming home from work one night down some tiny country lanes (I am a country bumpkin) some T**t comes hurtling towards me in the centre of the road, I dive for the roadside, there is a kerb.... I cried when I saw what it had done to my wheels. Caught both offside wheels pretty badly, I've patched them up, but not as perfect as they had been, when you get up close
I can tell these things are gonna be four little circles of drama in my life. And as far as parrallel parking is concerned, You don't see me any closer than 5/6inches from any kerbs. XD

Also right now she really needs a good clean, I wish that her paint was in better conditions, I can feel myself getting all OCD about it.

*sigh*
ALSO with winter coming I've decided i should really get some new rubber...on all four corners. Getting them fitted tomorrow morning. Nothing special. Mohawks (apparently) did a bit of research, rebranded Yokos. So we'll see how that goes. Can't complain for a deal that sees them fitted for about £65 a corner.

*more sighing*
well that turned into a bit of a rant.

hahaha, yeah, at least it'll be dark so you all can't look too closely at the state I know these wheels are going to end up in.
And cookie distractions will work well,
"OH LOOK AT YOUR WHEELS!"
"HAVE A COOKIE"
"OKAY!!"

I'll hopefully be around for the weekly meet in two Wednesdays time :)

Hey loving this another girl with a black mk4 finally! Loving the bright colours with the black (you ever saw BKR's black mk4 he had green wheels and and Rob 'bertrum' he has green bits too, BKR is on IOC but sadly the car is no more). My car is black on black but I have been toying with the idea of blue wheels as after 3 years my refurbed Octy vRS's are not looking so good.
By the way be very careful if you buy smoked side repeaters as mine had to be modified to fit as the bulb holder is smaller on VW so don't fit despite what they tell you on ebay.
Poor boys black hole is very good must say I saw Ems black Arosa at the show and shine at Inters and bought it after she said that is one of the products she uses. Beware of detailling I have spent a small fortune building up my collection! I did get a pro to fully correct my paint and loved the results.

Any more plans for the car?

Hey Aimez, thank you for your compliments,
Bright colours are clearly the way forward. So i think it is clear the time has come your wheels go blue!
Thank you for the heads up on side repeaters.
I think I'm going to HAVE to go to a pro, this winter is really depressing me by showing up how bad my paintwork is *sigh*
And whilst I'm back at uni car related expenses are sadly a little too much of a luxury. I might come up with something cheap to do; I've done nothing to the interior, so I might think about something there.
Next summer the wheels will change/refurb/something totally different again I'm sure. There might be some very different plans in the pipeline, but I've got to have a proper think about it :D

I would love to refurb my wheels again but I have found rust on my car's wing and unless I win the battle with seat corrosion warranty I will have to pay for new wing and my bonnet is appallingly stone chipped so need that spraying too! (don't worry about your paintwork lol!)
Yeh well leave the paint correction until the spring summer anyway or you can't show it off.
