Search box not working?

Hi, have tried typing keywords in the search forum box at the top right using my work PC and now also my home PC, it appears to be broken, as it just comes back with server error 500.

Cheers, I had a look at this last weekend - ended up clearing the search database & re-indexing (for three days!) and it was working again

I'll have another look tomorrow / the weekend

Try a more specific search term in the mean time

eg 'cupra' causes it to crash (at least for me), but 'freetrack' returns a reasonable set of results (like normal)

for the last couple of weeks even the simplest searches are just going to a blank page.
tried mk2 leon in readers rides and gives blank page. there is some sort of error mate as this search used to work.

I get:

Yeah, it's returning too large a file for the search.

It's on the list, but I'm away all week with work so won't get to the root cause
