I fitted one a few months ago,
You'll need to cut the centre posts down by about half, but do it a stage at a time overwise you could end up with not enough post to line up with the bumper.. also,
What i'd recommend is use some 4 or 5mm bolts and some penny washers under the splitter and through the splitter in the middle where the posts are and bolt it through the underside on the original bumper, cos when i did mine only using self tappers just didn't seem secure enough for my liking.
Also I recommend you get some of those flat oblong screw retaining clips from Halfords and use them inside the original bumper to secure the self tappers you use to screw the rest of the splitter to the underneath of the bumper with, as this makes the splitter much more secure to the original bumper.
The ends of the splitter will need trimming off as well, and what i did was line the ends up with the screws on the inner wheel arch front where it screws to the front of the wing, and screwed it in and cut off about 2 or 3 inches i think it was once it was secured to the original bumper...
Without doubt the hardest part was getting it central but once you have it's pretty straight forward, i just used some gaffer tape to hold it and jiggle it about till it was right then measured the centre posts and cut and filled them till they were right, then started by bolting the centre posts to the car first, then worked round the ends till they where in place....
