Seat belt pretensioner woes

I had a bit of a bump a while back and set off the passenger side airbag and seat belt pretensioner. I have replaced both of these (used parts from ebay) along with a used airbag ECU (same part number and index).

VCDS shows 3 faults: 01222, 01221 referring to the crash sensors along with 00655 resistance too low. When I replace my original ECU the only fault code is the 00655 resistance too low of the seat belt pretensioner.

I have tested the pretensioner connection with some resistors (5ohm) and while the fault code remains it now says resistance is too high, I'm assuming this means the connector/wiring is fine?

My question is how do I get rid of this 00655 code? Should I send my old airbag ECU off to one of these companies to be reset? Any input into this matter will be greatly appreciated

Wiring sounds fine. You should be able to clear the fault with VCDS so I would suspect the pretensioner may not be up to scratch.

Thanks, it's what I have been thinking. Try another seatbelt pretensioner then?

I'm also surprised the airbag ECU hasn't logged a crash??

If you have a spare known working one then I would
