Seat brembo brake setup on Mk2 Golf

Hello 1st post on here so hello fellow VAG groupers

I have a mk2 golf (gti 16v) which I am starting to use for trackdays I have heard of people putting the Brembo setup from an Ibiza cupra r on them is this something you have any knowledge on?

yup - I think badger5 have sold a few sets
the hubs are the same as the later mk2's - so will go straight on

you will need to check wheel offset and clearance matey,they be broad shouldered buggers

Should be ok I've got some 7x15" ET35 alloys so hoping they'll clear! anybody got any good links to info on swapping and changing? also what is the minimum wheel size on a Seat?

Oh and which one is 4 stud is it the Ibiza or the leon? cheers

ibiza is 4x100 pcd ,which is what you want.16's will fit,but some won't clear the brakes,seat had special oz's to fit the brembo's,aftermarket ones won't actually fit( of the same rim)

Might be time to upgrade to the 5 stud hubs all round and get some shiny Audi rims then!
