Hi anyone know how much a new engine underguard costs? And whether they are easy to install? Mine seems to be falling apart a little bit?

I cant recall and exact price but i remember reading they are very overpriced and quite expensive. as for fitting a few screws...fairly simple!

Whats the best (cheapest) way to get hold of the parts?

from a dealer or you can try a scrapyard but you run the risk of it being damaged or wrong.

when you do find out how much you are could you let us know? mine could prob do with replaceing at some point...as its had many a repair!

i think i paid around €130 for mine before fitting
totally worth it given the weather though

i took mine off when i lowered the car, to get a template for a steel 1 to be made up...
i still have it and may sell it
words chosen carefully as to not annoy mods

steel one was made up as a favour, i can try and found out a rough price of what a steel/sheet metal place would charge... i didnt get it made up to totally cover the underside like the originally, more as a realy large sump gaurd
