Hi all,
Been reading on here for a while and decided it's time to get a remap however as I couldn't find no remap and it's a lot of hassle to remove it from the engine I decided to get a dtuk box after a lot of thought. I spoke to Andrew at DTUK and couldn't believe how honest, polite and good the customer service was. So I bought one. Had it delivered next day and it took 5 mins to fit. I quickly put it on 4+1 setting just to see if there was a difference and OMG what a difference! The throttle responds immediately as no lag what so ever. You can really feel the difference.

I am going to post results on how it drives this week on different setting and will keep you updated.

If you want me to do any tests just ask :)

Here's a link to see the speed on a 0-60 in pouring rain. I was getting wheel spin in third gear and even fourth gear on other occasions but just because it's wet.

At the moment I'm using the map 0 + 1 and im getting an average of at least 10% if not 15% better mpg even on the short runs. With the map 4+1 I was getting around 51mpg that's while slamming foot down every corner I had a chance so not bad.

Good to hear. Makes a heck of a difference. Remember your trip will be well out after you fit the box. Mine settled at 13% average on 4+1.

Neither. Crd-t

It only gives me the option between these two:

Does the 1.6 not have traction control? Can't see a light, if I do a 0-60 sprint in the wet it does not turn off until I get to 50!

How do you know if it's a stage two or normal? And it does have traction control but I don't think it'd enabled im going to try out map 2 today and tomorrow :) see how it goes. My mpg was lower before if I drove it in sport mode about 45-50 hammering it down which is short trips but I see that there's no rain today and it's a bit dry so going to give car a wash and then test it again.

Stage 2 is what DTUK term tge crd-t box. You will know if it is a ctd-t as it will say ut on it and will connect in 2 places not 1.

The traction control light will be on all the time if it is disabled or flash when activated when enabled.

Ah Yeh I got the stage 2 then. I have no idea why it's not showing. Could it be so wet that it just wheels pins and doesn't have nothing to grip to? I know it's working because I went up a hill and floored it the other day and it was a green light so it does have it. I'll take a video of 0-60 in the dry whenever that will be in London >_>

I've got it before, I can't seem to get it when the dtuk box is fitted. It only comes on when the box is off? Can it be a fault?

I'm also guessing you got the rosstech thing. Is it fully working on yours? I got one but the cable is older then the software so it don't work.

Not sure buddy but mine comes on a hell of a lot more with the box on. Just taken if off as the car is with the dealera tomorrow and I forgot how much difference it makes!

Do you think I can come meet you one day and enable some stuff on the car?
