I think that the best thing it could be would be a rejigged version of the Linea R with in the best case scenario also an improved interior to some degree. I don't think that the Leon itself needs much restyling & as has also been noted, if the new Ibiza is anything to go by...

It would be hilarious, but I can see it happening. The lower spec will get the current FR kit and cupra up the K1/Reference sport/Linea r/pile of crap kit. Similar to what they did to the Ibiza. Another nail in the coffin.

What makes you guys think that the linea R would be the facelift? The linea R is already out so no chance of that happening I think.
I didn't actually think that the facelift model would be a Linea R but Tony D said otherwise after speaking to a dealer (I think) so I really meant to say sounds good to me if that's the case. Especially if they were to improve the interior as well.
Don't think anyone else theorized such a theory. It's all speculation mixed with what some people would like to see I suppose!

The dealer hadn't even heard of the Linea R when I spoke to her, but that just says to me that the dealer sales people haven't really got a clue about anything (most of them anyway!).
Like demonear, I'm hoping the facelift is something like the Linea R as that's effectively what I'm after, with an improved interior. I just hope it looks good and makes me want to buy one, otherwise I might have to look at something different.
Only a few more months (hopefully) and we'll all finally see what this facelift actually is...
