Hello guys im new to this site although iv owed 3 leons now over the past 4-5 years.

Anyways i need some help/advice really.

Ive recently fitted a set of official seat leon mk2 led clusters to my 2010 Leon but the problem is when i brake the brake liggts in the cluster pulse/ flicker?? Is this due to me not having them coded into the car or is there some other problem or easy fix for this maybe??

Any help or advice would be appriciated ;)

Thankyou. I didnt no wether the led lights i had bought were faulty or not?? Do u have some of the guys names on here so i can contact them??

I know thats why i need to get ot sorted asap. Its only the brake lights that pulse when on? When im on a hill in traffic i can see them in the rear view mirror pulsing woth the reflection they give off on the car thats behind me.

It may be a coding issues as if you put Xenons in you need to code them up. Some of the other guys on here have retrofitted them so they can probably help you.

After I installed an aftermarket HID kit, I searched for a "Low Beam Xenons installed" feature in VCDS 11.8 before but I couldn't find one. Would you happen to know how that can be done? Even though my HID kit is already canbus, I feel like it would be better to set it as Xenons in low beam.

Ive been looking to buy these lights also, been told to get in touch with Dave at Sere where did you get yours from and how much were they ?

The LEDs are a mortgage Mike.
By the time you buy them and get Seat to code them its over £500!!!
They do look nice but maybe not £500 nice.

I need these lights in my life. Saw THREE Leons yesterday with them and they just look fantastic!!!

I might not get them any time soon, but at some point, they will be mine....

Unfortunately for you guys seat bumped the price up. Last time I checked they were £485.

With regards to the OP, they need coding to the car and it takes about 20 minutes. I was charged 27.50 by a SEAT dealer.

Pointless them bumping the price up if nobody is going to buy them though. I'm personally gonna wait a while, i've got my car for the next four years at least and probably beyond so can be patient.... (he says, until he has a spare £500)

There are VCDS settings for rear LED lights fitted and rear LED lights brightness. You can select 6 or so different voltages, The higher the voltage you select the more the lights flickered so I set it back to stock setting.

Obviously you need to select them as fitted, that may stop them flickering.

I think the voltage range was 11 to 13 volts but don't quote me on it. Anyway you want it set at around the mid point, the lowest voltage made them a bit dim. The highest voltage made them brighter but flickered all the time.

Does anyone live in or near birmingham that has vcds to code my rear led tail lights in for me?? Il slip you some dollars aswell for it ;)

Yes that would be great :) I think you can do it just just have to activate them/tick them on the system once it connected.

My leons a 10 plate is your vcd system compatible or do they work on all leons??

Ok will do pal hopefully get the rear led sorted and stop them flickering

Also what other good tweaks can you do with the vcds??

PM you when I can and thankyou

Needle sweep, cornering fogs disable, coming/leaving home lights, alarm beep. Some of these tweaks have not worked on Pre FL models but should be fine on FL hopefully
