Evening all,

Had a search for this & found many people experiencing some problems with the Navigon system, but no answers about the issue Im having.

When using the units bluetooth handsfree, it will pair with my iPhone no worries, but when making a call, I can hear the person on the line but they can't hear me! It's like the unit does not know what microphone to use.

It's annoying as I'm able to stream music no problems at all & the phone pairs automatically every time I get in the car which is pretty good.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Cheers

My wife's 2013 Ibiza has a similar problem. She often experiences calls dropping out or losing audio. I think the Portable Nav unit loosens on it's clip-in housing over time making for a dodgy/loose connection.

I've been searching for the last few days to see if anybody has amnaged to resolve this and tighten things up. No definitive anwer yet.

I have a Ibiza mk5 11reg and my Bluetooth has stopped working and won't pair was fine for 4years been looking around trying to sort problem any tips of what's gone wrong ???

I had trouble with my SPS unit not playing music via the Bluetooth.

I cleaned all the Connecting Pins from the back of the SPS unit, the dash arm mount and the dashboard socket, problem was all sorted then!

So this maybe worth a try people.......!

I believe the bluetooth is built into the SPS sat nav unit mate? I've taken the unit off & cleaned the contacts but still no joy. Off to the dealers for them to have a go in a couple of weeks.

Blow and wipe all connections for the sps out and blow into your microphones, they are above you next to your interior light

Thanks Sam, I'll check that!
I thought the SPS unit had it's own microphone built in?
