Hello everyone,

Couple of days ago i found that the seatbelt warning in the dashboard has disappeared, also i tried to search under both front seats from any sockets, but didn't find any !

Before i was angry that seatbelt warning didn't chime, now i don't have anything.

Can any 1 assist to sort this out ?

Been tinkering with VCDS lately?

You should quite easily see the sensor wire coming from the belt latch.
Thats the one for seat belt warning.

@ Seat service center they advised that there are 2 types of seat belts, 1 is connected with the airbag, and the other one is like a socket inside the stalk or something, they couldn't find any fault so they concluded that it might be the led is fried :( and it can't be replaced, i have to replace the whole dial board. LUCKY me

if it is the led that is fried, just try driving down your street or an empty carpark slowly (i think it has to be over 10 or 15 mph) without your seatbelt on and it should beep at you, that way you would know if it is the led or the whole system.

luckily your car has a warranty so SEAT will pay to replace the dial unit.

nope , welcome to egypt , we buy cars more expensive than yours, while ours are way less power than yours and stripped from all the optional stuff, and in the end we don't have the same way of treatment when the car is faulty :(
