selective door unlocking

hello every1. i have been looking through the posts and seen that some people can choose to unlock just the drivers door instead of all of them. how is this done or can u only do it on certain models? thanks

if you have remote locking then yeah you can do it, you will need to change some settings with vag com though

Having just read the guides on the main page it appears to be an option you can set from within VAG-COM

I thought with remote CL, you press once to unlock the door and the second time you press it, it unlocks the rest - by default...?

yep mine does that one push on the remote and drivers door opens 2 pushes and all the otheres are unlocked....

I turned mine off the other day as it was getting a bit irritating. Only takes 2 mins to do with vagcom.

those replies were quicker than i thought would be! i havent got a vag com just a fault code reader. can it only be changed with vag com then?

afrad so mate (your dealer can do it too but will probably charge you for the pleasure) best bet is to find someone local to you with vag com.
