Cheers all, have my Pela pump, £30 from the Bay. Have my flush, but will get a refund. Will be a good service have:

Air con cleaner
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter (How big???)
Castrol Edge Turbo Diesel Oil
Millers 4 Power Plus
Collinite 476 Wax

Although the pipe flexes to a degree, it's not "floppy" as such. It's a bit like the outer sleeve of a bike brake cable if you know what I mean (coiled steel coated in plastic/rubber). You just push it down the dipstick tube until it hits the bottom of the sump.

Like Nic says, you might end up with an egg-cup full or so of oil left, but in the scheme of 4-5 litres of oil it's nothing (there'll be more than that stuck around the nooks & crannies of the engine anyway).

Ta very much - just worried that you're going to get a piece of pipe like windscreen washer pipe - just keeps curling round when you feed it.

I spoke to a mate and he bought an electric pump version (non pela) for the gearbox in his Mastercraft speedboat. He moaned about the pipe - looks like the Pela's OK - me thinks I'll order one soon. :)

Jesus, it was minus 2 so didn't get it all done, had a nightmare:

Was so cold the air con didn't work (I think it does not work below 5 degrees?)
Where the hell does the fuel filter go?
Could not get the oil filter open
Dad pinched my Millers

Nightmare!!
