the £200 was yeh, both places said they would use genuine seat bits, but still seems really steep, i got my brake service done at 22k aswell, so they wont need to do that.

not really, one specialist quoted the £180 price, gonna shop around more, but just seemed a bit steep

buy your own oil and a replacement oil and air filter, take it to a small garage and ask them not to wash your car or put screen wash in it, theyll charge you about £60 to change the oil.
say its £40 for your oil, £5 for your oil filter and £15 for your air filter thats £120
save yourself a nice 60 quid

Had mine done recently at a nearby local blokie. Was <£100. I think it was about £85 with genuine Seat parts and correct oil.

Another thing to watch out for.

If your dealer charges you for a 5 litres of oil, remember that the engine only takes 4-4.5 litres, so ask for the remainder in a handy top-up bottle.

Some dealers I guess will just have it on pump and charge for the required amount, but mine used to use 5 litre cans and left me a top-up bottle in the boot containing the surplus. Well sometimes they did anyway...

60k service will be even more exspensive as it is a large service compaired to the earlier services like pollen filter air filter element spark plugs oil coolant cambelt ect ect
