Service manual Ibiza 1989 1.7 GLX

Hi there, can anyone give me an advice, where I can download (not buy) service manual for Ibiza 1.7 1989 GLX (diesel)?

Until now i found only petrol manuals.

sorry i cant help. but it's about time someone posted here. you mk1 owners must get lonely here..didnt know they did a mk1 oil burner

Oh yes they did..
It's working fine. Got now 290.000 km with no problems.
But I could use some info for service.

for example sometimes in summer i got a little engine overheating.
so i think it's a problem with the thermostat. and i need to know how to repair it or at least to know where it is located in my engine.

Very rare that a Mk1 will pop up, never mind a diesel!

The majority of the Mk1 shares parts with the Fiat Uno I beleive ... but they didn't have an Uno diesel I'm sure.

You should take some photos and share more information about your car - quite rare indeed!

i've been tryin to service the car in many Seat services in my neighborhood but they were nearly terrified to do anything with the car.
That's why i decided to service the car on my own.
will try to do my best about the photos, but the km-age of the car is high so don't expect anything sensational
