servicing in Leicester

HI guys.

I popped into my local stealeer to book my 06 TDi FR in for its 40k service and was quoted £295!!! Er.... I didnt think it would be THAT much!! yikes..

So anyone know anywhere in Leicester or nearby, dont mind travelling a lil to get i done.

Also any advntages to having it serviced by a tuning garage rather than a dealer??

have ya tried a vw/audi or Skoda.
also Graham Goodes dunno how much they would charge tho. you also have street racer not sure if they do services tho but they have a rolling road and stuff. prob worth a try.

Glynn, does he offer any other services (I can't seem to find an "official" website for him, just a couple of good reviews on Briskoda)? Think I might need a new tyre, so I'm looking for a recommended place for fitting as I was less impressed with the place I've previously used. Will give him a ring at some point but won't get chance till at least tonight, do you know if he can also do tyres/tracking, or just servicing?

He can do tracking mots servicing tyres etc

I can tell you Gavin he is fu@@*@* cheap in comparison to a dealer I have spent lots with him and 110% satisfied

Just rang Dave - top bloke.. very friendly.. BUT

He isnt vat registered atm, so that would screw up my warranty.. such a shame that. Also quoted me £160 for the 40k service!! Bargain.

Will have to use his garage when the warranty has expired for sure.

Oh well.
