servicing

just jumped in my car and the service spanner has come up, i have had a look in the car hand book and it says that the servicing intervals for my ibiza pd 130 is every 10,000 miles but my last service was 7,000 miles ago! whats going on? any ideas?

might have been a year since the last service, sure it's 10k or 1 year dunno if this would bring the spanner up though

it was last done in october so its only been 6 months since the last service. my only thought is the car is 2 years old this month so would it still come up with a yearly service reminder too?

You got it matey, basically they havnt reset the service indictor when they done the service thats all.

You can do it yourself mate. tells you how to in the manual i think

If i remember correctly :

Hold in the trip reset button in, turn on the ignition, wait till the display goes to - - - , release the button.

On some models you also need to turn the button to the right for the reset.
