Shall I swap the LCR for an R32?

i disagree, they are fast , the extra weight brings them down a bit but compare it to a leon in the dry and your about even, compare in the wet and the r32 is gone.
also the power is far more driveable imo, with all the power you want at any gear and near enough any revs.

they are not that exiting, and it really isnt a GOOD TRUE 4wd car, it makes it sluggish if anything, dont get me wrong they are nice and im not out to argue about it but they wouldnt make you jump in your seat with exitment compaired to the LCR. it will be like going from a corsa 1.1 to a saxo 1.1 if you know what i mean.
Well built car with a NA engine that has good response and no lag - but the power-to-weight ratio is worse than a standard LCR and much worse than a remapped one. The 4wd really only comes into it's own when accelerating from standing starts and out of slow corners. If you're after thrills you won't get the feeling of power you get from the turbo in the LCR but it will feel like a competent GT cruiser.
Fit the blue flame and if its a turbo back system upgrade your software to stage 2. Job done.
R32 are great cars but if you are an enthusiast alot less spent on the LCR will result in a better car than the R32. You've spent the money on the LCR enjoy it to its potential. If it still don't float your boat buy the r32 next year.

if its revod to 250 260 bhp, itll feel much quicker than a r32..
spend more on a dp and cat, stage 2 map, arbs, bushes, suspension db mount, and evel=n a diff, and youll be more impressed than the 32.
nice car the 32, but the only real advantage is the 4wd.
id stick to the car you know, you could end up getting a naff r32.

The 350 is a 3.5 litre - a better example would be the E46 M3s 3.2L with 330bhp! But that's a special engine
or sell the blueflame to me for a ridiculously cheap price?

But of course if you have got 4wd it must handle better.A misconception that some people think.
Even the newer mk 5 with more power,about 250hp isnt quicker on the move compared to standard cupra r let alone a remapped one.
I think the cupra r is the best all round package of the mk4 vag range.The interior isnt as good as the R32 but it isnt bad.
Like for like its got much better brakes as standard,better mpg,better weight distribution,more tuning potential,looks better and costs less to buy.

I always find it interesting that people think you can corner faster with four driven wheels - you can't. You get more traction when exiting the corner, but the only way you'll get more grip is fatter tyres....
