Hi Jonathan,

Are you fitting a 1.8T with the 6 spd too? I think you might need to do some surgery to the chassis leg to get it all to fit .... unless you just mid-mount the lot lol. If you are speaking with the 02a 5 spd then if you cannot get an 02a B&M short shift kit then the 02j one can be mad to fit. It was done by an old member Stu (Stu_HR or utter_hatred)

I was buying a complete package but have had to leave spending that much for the time being(wife got made redundant!)
So I am now looking for a short shift for the box thats in along with a diff and some closer ratios.

You can use the 02A box on the 20vT lump anyway...... probably the easier option to take.

Your other idea wiv the box say £570 if you get a new final drive and know a mate that can rebuild a box the diff is then another £600 on top of that
