Hi guys! I've got a leon 2l tfsi sport (185bhp), when i'm accelerating with the window down theres a sorta hissing/sucking sound maybe, normal? Reading about how carp the standard diaphram dv's are i'm kinda thinking the dv maybe faulty! I have vag-com (no fault codes about boost atm tho)! I was thinking about logging boost, BUT i'd have no idea what it's supposed to be as standard! Can anyone tell me a) whether the sound is normal (surely the turbo is gonna make some noise)? and b) what i should be looking for when i log ze boost! And exactly what to log, Rpm/load/boost?

Cheers people! Only a month or so of warranty left so i wanna make sure everything is a ok before the dreaded 14th o june!!! Dun Dun Derrr!

your best bet is log it with the dealers mate if you only have a short period of time left , if they dont fix the fault if ot os a fault inside the warranty period i am pretty sure they will still honour a repair within a reasonable amount of time once the warranty has expired.

That's sound advice robdf2! But i don't know for sure whether it's actually gone! So need to make sure before i log it with seat otherwise as i understand you have to pay for the labour to look into it don't you(not 100%)?

thats not the case , as long as you go to a SEAT main dealer and report a suspected fault they will investigate foc , if you go outside of your warranty period for a fault which has not been reported before then they are within their rights to charge you.
hope this helps.
