Hmm, that gives me an idea - wonder if I could butcher the top half of the OEM airbox and fasten it on there, then feed some ducting round to the filter

where did u get that plastic bit on the inside of the grille, that your cold air feed connects to, if you dont mind me asking?

Well what happened was I took my standard one off one day and couldn't be bothered to put it back on and I ended up standing on it by accident in the garage so I went to the stealer and tried to order one and one really random completely different piece turned up so I went back in and got them to order the proper one and another different one turned up and I really couldnt be asked to go back again and explain it to them so I just turned it upside down and butchered it until it fitted how I wanted it to.

But to be honest I have no idea what model leon it came from but its not a LCR one it was only £4 or something but does the job :)

OK, any chance you can have a look and see if there's a part number on it? ;)

Right, I've just taken it off and had a look and unfortunately mate theres no part number on it at all :( and I chucked the reciept ages ago :( I know I'm useless ha, sorry mate.

Maybe if you go and ask for what I did and ask them to get it wrong you'll get it? ;)
