Sam mate did you use high temp paint and high temp lacquer to do your engine cover and battery
I am finding it hard to get a green paint to match my hoses

just use platikote from b&q, this stuff is the nuts, my engine cover has been white for over a year now and still looks mint

Gez. Doesnt the intake with open cone like that suck in alot of hot air? Ive noticed these engines get really hot. I would have though an enclosed CAI would be better suited?

There is a big debate whether or not an open cone with a heat shield or an enclosed filter work best. The way i see it is that whether the volume of air sucked into the filter is hot or cold, it then passes through a bloody hot turbo, and is then cooled by the intercooler, so in my eyes, the volume of air is more important than anything else.

But thats my opinion, and someone will probably disagree

They are off the Audi S3
It is not a straight forward fir though, and you need the 5L washer bottle as the opening on the OE one is in the wrong place

maybe more hassle than it's worth then, was thinking about wrapping one with carbon sheet.

You have to get the S3 one mate, the TT one deffo will not fit and they did'nt make one to fit any of the MK1 Leon range.

I got mine of Ebay, be warned though they are not cheap I think there about £90 from Audi + the washer bottle.
