just hard to gain access mate, it below the inlet manifold, you will manage it yourself no doubt but its not as easy as you would hope... i just got statllers to put mine in as the engine was raised to get the diff clutch and mounts fitted anyway.

go and have a look at you engine and see what you think!!!

***Look at post 118 and it will give you a better idea***

im sure it will be starting to pi55 you off

Oh yes, for all too long. And seeing JBS weren't going to offer any pointers after I went to see them about it (they were all to happy to sell me pump internals in the first place), I now know where not to buy in future when I want something sorting.

People are happy to sell you anything these days, but all too often ready to wipe their hands once your transaction has cleared.

i know thats why i have driven 400miles to get my car done from someone with good reviews and are also good guys to speak to. i have got someone about 50miles from me who is capable of carrying out the same work but his attitude stinks and he has had some bad press recently.

I have had the same experience with JBS after i had my pump fitted there, ended up going to Awesome GTI to resolve the issue

like the look of all these clean engine bays....mines is nowhere near as clean at the moment....can anyone advise how to go about cleaning it ( in the past just used a jet wash, with engine running, know it might be wrong ) and what products they have used.

Cheers
Edd

I don't use water, I wear gloves and go crazy with engine cleaner (spray) and just spray and wipe clean and use a brush for the hard bits infact its pretty to clean it all up!
