Side Indicator removal

Whats the best technique to do this, want to change the bulbs to remove the orange but remember snapping these on other cars in the past.

I know its something like pushing them to one side and then pulling the other but which way round is it?

i used a flat knife with tea towel over and prised from under neaath very carefully... came out with ease

Flat head screw driver put it in side nearest the door and it pops out changed mine yesterday to smoked ones

where'd you get the bulbs from dan?
daboy3000, where you thinking of getting bulbs from? assume your going for clears for a cleaner look?

Mine arnt bulbs there a whole new indicator lense got them from e bay they are smoked shadow chrome pics are in my thread last few pages

no worries, had a look and go well with black car. not so keen on that scratch though.
got one and no money to sort it. kee it clean and not rusted yet....

seen some clear repeaters on fleabay but want non-orange bulbs as well.

Halfords sell the bulbs mate made by silver tec I have them in the front lights look silver flash orange , mine should look better if i ever clean it , the scratch makes me not want to spend 3 hours polishing it as it stands out to much

The one you want is called BU501S capless wedge bulb , and if you want the front silver ones in your head lights make sure you get the off set pin type
