What sort of driving are you doing, the bulk of mine is 30-50mph cruising and stop start rush hour traffic. Very rarely get chance to get above 70 unless its late @ night.

Hardly ever go on the Motorway - Not been on a motorway since ....
(takes 3 minutes) .... last week to pick up thermalp4's Clio and before that was... Christmas shopping 
, Man I need to get out more! Went to the cinema last week but that was in the misis Lupo Sport Guess I can see why I get good MPG

Ive never got that sort of MPG. I used to get about 30 but the MAF was fecked and the car was running lean. Is your MAF ok?

staying off boost u should easily see late 30s
but put ur footdown and its gonna be in the teens!

Seems I am not the only one then. I did find a huge difference in petrol bills between the Revo'd Leon Cupra R and my standard Ibiza Cupra though

I was getting mid 20's when I first had the car. It's now in and around the 30's most of the time.

I get 25-26 mpg in town driving but i do alot of stopping and starting .. mind you i only do 100 miles a week on average with the odd motorway trip .. which i get about 33-34 mpg .. does anyone know if short journeys in town most of the time uses up lots of petrol?? is this true??
