Simple Questions regarding Coolant Changing

Just quickly,

(1) Where's the best place to buy some distilled water for flushing/mixing my coolant

(2) What quantities do the stealers sell G12 coolant in and how much will I need to buy, considering I'll be mixing it 50/50 (correct?) -- Ie how much coolant to buy vs. how much mix the system will take?

Tescos sell 2.5 litre containers of distilled water for just over £1

Buy G12+ from the dealer. 1.5 litre containers.

If you're completely draining the whole system, 1.5 litres of G12+ wont be quite enough. You'll need two containers.

It's less than £7 a bottle + VAT.

if it's just a quick top up do you still need a 50/50 mix. if so can you use bottled water suvh as evian?

I was always told to avoid mineral waters/tap water as the chemicals and minerals can "gunk" up your system and cause it to corrode.

Try distilled/de-ionised water. It's a pound or so per litre. Asda/tesco/halfords sell it.

P.S you can go as low as 40/60 coolant/water.
