popping down to 'the' scrappy in Derby tomorrow anyway, see what goodies they've got in at the mo....

Didnt get to the scrappy in the end.... 'other stuff' got in the way but Ill see if I can get down there during the week (hopefully they'll give me work over that way again) Off down to Castle Combe tomorrow and the scrappy is shut on sundays ..

Popped back into the scrappy today, saw another bloke (one from last week not there ) told him what I was after, he said how you know we got one, told him Isaw the fella last week.. got the nice shiney red *Ibiza Gti* strip for the tailgate.. A TENNER!!!!! looked at rest of the car whilst it was at floor level (was up on top of two others at start) nothing really worth having . Its a Pre-facelift in RED drivers door missing.. interior is mouldy engine is already out as is the exhaust..only thing thats possibly of any use to anyone is a pretty funky lip spoiler on the top of the boot with a wide brake-light built in . the other Mk2 (blue face lifted) had frontal damage so no fog covers , Andy.... and both models were fairly 'base' so no big brakes or owt fancy...
*there was also a mk1 LEON TDi in there that had been well butchered no lump/box/exhaust.. no interior no brakes no rims...

i have some 280mm brakes dude lol, get the hubs from an 8v or 16v gti and i got the brakes.. got standard 16v suspension 2 if your intrested

The only scrappies i know and have been to are near the blues ground, bordesley green i think. But they mainly ssem to be japanese ones. HAve yet to find one with any sort of Seat!
theres two in a scrappy down Bordesley, Krishen.. both Mk2's.. one red Pre facelift, one blue 'facelift'..
