Smallest wheels to fit fr+

Hi all, been thinking of getting a spare set of winter tryes for the fr+ however wanted to be able to change the tryes myself so wanted a cheap set of alloys or steels.

Does anyone know the smallest tryes that will fit over the disks on the fr+ 170 cr? Seen a thread were someone suggested 16 inch steels, would these really fit?

we just fitted 16 inch on a gold v gti today which has 200 brake so probably 16 would be ok on a 170 diesel. dont think you will get away with 15's could be wrong.

I have 16", you won't be able to get 15" over the brakes.

Can you get steel wheels in 18 inch with 5x112 / correct fitment -
I've had no luck at all searching for steel wheels - am I missing something !!!!!
Found one site that said they could supply steel wheels -
Put the cupra details in and they quoted me for 16 inch wheels that would fit !!!!
:help:
that was enough to scare me off .

Yep, 16's are a nightmare for tyres. Limited choice and expensive. Got them on g/f's Ibiza now and had them on my old Corsa.

You'd be better picking up a cheap set of 17" OEM alloys for the winter.
