smelly climate control in my altea, any ideas

Hi, my climate control in my Altea has started to give a nasty smell ( like a wee smell) and wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you solve the problem.

air cons can smell after a while if you do not use them correctly. bacteria builds up around the unit.

Change filter - they get damp and mouldy/musty. Easy 5mins job - find it under the glovebox, but you need to be flexible/upside down.
