Doubtful it would get blocked with oil,but there may be a residue of oil due to the crank case breather emitting gases through the i/c.If you follow the pipe from the i/c back up to towards turbo there is a black valve(similar to the dump valve),couple of inches away from the dump valve,this allows gases from the the crank case back through into the intake system, as a result oil contamination is inevitable.A few people on here have bypassed it with an oil catchment tank.

the reason i asked the question is because my original engine blew up and i never considered changng the intercooler but when i put my samco hoses on i found alot of oil in the pipework at the begining of the intercooler itself
is there a how to guide on here any where about the bypass
