smoothed the rear wiper, opinions?

What do you reckon then guys, ditched the rear wiper yesterday, really easy to do, the worst part was getting the bootlid trim panel off, damn VAG metal clips, horrible design but got them all off and back on again without losing/breaking any

deffinately worth doing as its a simple job to put back in if/when you change your mind, take 20mins tops? and most of that would be struggling with the trim panel!

Looks good mate, cleans up the rear alot. tempted to do it but use my rear wiper alot!

25mm blanking grommit, seems to be a standard size at small motor factors and halfords also stock the size in there odds and sods section, halfords ones are actually slightly deeper so a better fit, i'd recommend you put a little black silicon sealant round the edge though to guarantee a perfect seal

i was actually reading the subtle mods thread yesterday and decided i was gonna ditch it, then i went to get a groommet and guess what everywhere was closed... :-( so i will be doing it today, i will post up laters

Hmm, i aint sure, it looks good, but with all the dust these cars kick up, the back gets dirty easily.
